嘉宾简介：Dr. Shannon Bartelt-Hunt is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and the Interim Associate Dean for Professional Development in the Office of Graduate Studies at the University of Nebraska. She received her Ph.D. in 2004 from the University of Virginia in Civil (Environmental) Engineering. Dr. Bartelt-Hunt’s research focuses on the fate of biologically-active trace contaminants in soil and water, with a specific focus on agricultural systems.Shehas over 100 publications in top environmental journals such asEnvironmental Science and Technology, Journal of Hazardous Materials, Environmental International, Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry.This talk will presentherwork on emerging contaminants such as pharmaceuticals in animal production practices, agricultural and suburban watersheds in the state of Nebraska.
