嘉宾简介：
Dr. Mervin J. Bartholomew specializes in tectonics, structural geology and active faults with current projects in the Grenvillian, Appalachian, and Cordilleran orogens of North America. He collaborates with colleagues in the Faculty of Geosciences and the Earthquake Research Center at China University of Geosciences on hazard problems in China. He has edited/coedited 5 books, has authored/coauthored 82 articles/book-chapters/geologic maps and 121 abstracts for conference presentations.
Dr. Mervin J. Bartholomew is a North Carolina Licensed Geologist; Fellow (1986) of the Geological Society of America; Life Member of the American Geophysical Union, Carolina Geological Society, and Pennsylvania Archaeological Society; President (1989) and Board Member (1987-90) of the International Basement Tectonics Association; and Board Member (2007-13) of the Yellowstone-Bighorn Research Association. He is a Wintergreen Founder recognized at the 2008 dedication by the Wintergreen Nature Foundation of the Wintergreen Founders Vision Overlook near mile 15 along the National Blue Ridge Parkway in central Virginia.
